At the indicated time, we'll meet at Via G. Marconi, 1, from where we'll start an electric bike tour of Matera. Ready to discover the magic of the Basilicata countryside? Let's pedal!
We'll start cycling next to the Sassi di Matera to see up close one of the most characteristic landscapes of the city. Please note that this is a panoramic bike tour and not a guided walking tour of the Sassi.
Then, we'll leave the city behind and enter the countryside of Matera, pedalling among hills, harvesting grounds, and rural landscapes on calm, easy unpaved roads.
In the final stretch of the tour, we'll climb up toward Murgecchia, where we'll arrive at a viewpoint with views of the Gravina. Here, you can see the Sassi from the other side of the canyon and take pictures. At this panoramic stop, we'll also taste local focaccia.
Afterward, we'll hop on our electric bikes and return to the starting point, where we'll conclude this 3-hour activity.
