Snowmobile Ride & Ice Fishing
Enjoy the landscapes of Lapland on this incredible tour. We'll pick you up from your hotel in Rovaniemi at the selected time and set off for its snow-covered forests.
We'll hop on a snowmobile to begin this polar adventure and zoom across the snowy landscapes that are so characteristic of this stunning part of the planet! We'll make a couple of stops along the way to enjoy the peacefulness of the environment. After an hour, we'll pull up at a magnificent frozen lake.
Time to go ice fishing! The guide will show us how to prepare our rods and make a hole in the ice. Now all you need is a bit of luck and patience! Will they take the bait?
For a real Lappish experience, we'll start a fire and sit around it to enjoy a hot drink and a barbecue lunch—delicious!
After this adventurous day, we'll return to Rovaniemi and drop you off at your hotel after getting to know Rovaniemi a little better. The tour will last approximately 5 hours, but will always depend on the size of the group and weather conditions.
Hotel Pickup
This tour includes pickup at hotels located within a 6.2 mi (10 km) radius from the center of Rovaniemi. If your hotel is not in this area, we'll meet at Postikatu 1.
Activity Requirements
- To drive the snowmobiles, you need to be over 18 years old and have a valid and current driver's license. On the day of the activity, you'll need to present your physical driver's license (photocopies or digital images are not valid).
- People who are 4 ft 7 in (140 cm) or taller can ride on the snowmobile by paying the adult price. Those shorter than 4 ft 7 in (140 cm) must ride on the sled towed by the snowmobile driven by the guide.
- The prices listed are per person. However, each snowmobile can carry up to two people. If you book the shared snowmobile option, both riders may take turns driving the vehicle if they meet the necessary requirements.
